Beer makes one thirsty. See for yourself how beer is brewed, then enjoy its cool taste in a rustic setting. When we started our brewery in South Tyrol with a selection of craft beers, this was exactly our intention from the outset.

Pfeffer Schwarz

Hard-headed? Then try our dark beer. A naturally cloudy, dark, bottom-fermented beer made from various dark malts with fine roasted aromas. Contains 5.5 % alc/vol. 

Pfeffer Kastanie

The perfect beer for the Törggelen event. A naturally cloudy, amber, bottom-fermented beer made from various dark malts give it a chestnut flour with light, smoky aromas. Contains 6% alc/vol.

Pfeffer Holz

Wooded beer? Yes, that's right! Bottom-fermented, unfiltered, special brown beer. Malt-kilned over beech wood, it’s matured for 3 months in oak barrels giving it its special character. Smokey, peaty aromas are balanced out with malty wood tones, reminiscent of vanilla. 
Contains 6% alc/vol.

Pfeffer Hell

This classic, light, naturally-cloudy, bottom-fermented beer made with an oven-toasted Pilsner malt extract, has a slightly bitter note. Contains 5% alc/vol.

Our Beer Garden in South Tyrol 

What could be better than sitting at a table under the shady limetrees with a light beer and enjoying life?

Whether it’s sitting down to a refreshing beer after a long bicycle trip, a hard-earned ale after work or sipping an aperitif in our sunny beer garden, the Pfefferlechner is the ideal meeting place on almost any summer evening. Besides weekly live music, we also organize special events such as outdoor painting sessions, live jazz in the beer garden as well as the Törggelen in autumn. While the adults enjoy themselves in good company, the junior-set enjoy close encounters with the tame animals at the petting zoo and have fun in the playground.

Guests of all ages hope to enjoy a special experience: the kids want to play and romp around and the adults look forward to relaxing in the garden, cradling a cold drink in their hands. 
The cute animals in the petting zoo inspire curiosity, seeing them from up close and stroking them. 
When hunger sets in, there’re the local specialties at the garden buffet to enjoy.

Distillery 

Most of what we serve at the Pfefferlechner is our own production, such our Schnapsln. Located right in the Schnapsstube, our distillery produces cherry brandy, pomace brandy (grappa) or beer brandy depending on the season. Guests are able to observe the master distiller at work and learn something about the high art of distilling. During the firing days in November, the Gupffleisch speciality appears on the menu. This is pork loin cooked in schnapps vapour, with bacon dumplings and steamed white cabbage.
